Definitions

  • App: Refers to the TwoHearts™ mobile application.

  • Services: Refers to all features, tools, content, and functionality offered through the App.

  • User: Any individual who downloads, registers, or uses the App.

  • Developer: Deep Lab (PVT) LTD, the company that owns and operates the TwoHearts™ App.

  • Terms: This Terms & Conditions agreement governing the use of the App.

     

Introduction

Welcome to TwoHearts™, a matrimony app connecting individuals seeking lawful matrimonial alliances. These Terms govern your access to and use of the TwoHearts™ mobile application ("App") and services ("Services") provided by Deep Lab (PVT) LTD ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

Platform Acknowledgement (Apple/Google)

This agreement is between you and Deep Lab (PVT) LTD only, not with Apple Inc. or Google LLC. Apple and Google are not responsible for the TwoHearts™ app or its content. You acknowledge that your use of the App also complies with the respective platform’s Terms and Conditions.

 

1. Eligibility
  • Age and Legal Capacity: You must be at least 18 years old and legally competent to marry under applicable laws.

  • Marital Status: You must be unmarried, divorced, widowed, or legally separated in accordance with the personal law applicable to you.

  • No Legal Restrictions: You must not be barred by any court order or law from entering into a marriage.

  • Third-Party Profiles: If creating a profile for someone else, you confirm you have their consent and authority.

By using this App, you affirm that you meet all eligibility requirements stated herein.

 

2. Registration and Account Security
  • Locked Identity Information: To prevent fraud, your name, birthdate, ethnicity, civil status, and partner preference country cannot be changed after account creation.

  • Accurate Information: Provide true, accurate, current, and complete information during registration and maintain its accuracy.

  • Paid Membership Required: While free users can access basic features, certain enhanced features require an active paid membership.

  • Account Responsibility: Keep your login credentials confidential; you're responsible for all activities under your account.

  • Unauthorized Access: Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security breaches.

  • Account Sharing: Your account is personal and must not be shared with others.

Multiple Accounts: Your subscription is tied to your Google/Apple account. If you create multiple profiles using the same platform account:

  • Subscription changes affect all profiles under that account

  • In-app purchases (e.g., Add to Spotlight) apply only to the profile where purchased

  • To maintain separate subscriptions, use different Google/Apple accounts for each profile.

We reserve the right to terminate your account if the information provided is found to be false or misleading.

 

3. Use of the App and Services
  • Use the App solely for seeking matrimonial and dating alliances.

  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

  • Do not post content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, defamatory, obscene, infringing, or contains malware.

  • Do not collect or store personal data about other users.

  • Horoscope matching features are provided for informational purposes only and are powered by a third-party service. These results do not guarantee that two users are matched or unmatched. Users are strongly encouraged to consult a trusted family astrologer for accurate compatibility advice.

  • Use the App solely for seeking matrimonial and dating alliances.

  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

  • Do not post content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, defamatory, obscene, infringing, or contains malware.

  • Do not collect or store personal data about other users.

     

4. Content Ownership and License
  • Your Content: You retain ownership but grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, distribute, and display it.

  • Our Content: All intellectual property belongs to Deep Lab (PVT) LTD. Do not reproduce or distribute it without written permission.

     

5. Verification and Authenticity
  • Users may optionally verify their profiles after onboarding by submitting a selfie photo and valid identity card.

  • Verified profiles are marked with a blue verification tick within the App.

  • Verification submissions are manually reviewed by our team to confirm consistency between the ID and selfie.

  • The blue tick indicates successful identity and photo verification but does not imply background checks or personal endorsements.

  • We may revoke verification if we discover false or misleading information.

  • Even for verified users, we advise caution. Users remain solely responsible for their communications and actions.

     

6. Data Security and Intended Audience
  • We take reasonable measures to protect user data but cannot guarantee complete security.

  • No system is entirely immune from cyberattacks or breaches.

  • The App is not intended for users under 18.

     

7. Communication and Notifications
  • You agree to receive service, account-related, and promotional communications.

  • You may opt out of promotional messages using the options provided.

     

8. User Conduct and Prohibited Activities
  • Be respectful to others; no harassment or threats.

  • Do not solicit money or favors.

  • Illegal behavior will result in suspension or legal action.

     

9. Membership Plans and Payments

9.1 Access and Feature Availability

Free users can access basic features. Enhanced features require a Basic or Premium membership.

9.2 Membership Tiers and Plans

  • Free: Browse profiles, send requests, and chat with matches. Ads are shown throughout the app.

  • Basic: Includes all Free features. Removes ads, unlocks advanced filters and search features, and allows profile verification.

  • Premium: Includes all Basic features plus direct messaging to any user, visibility into who viewed your profile, horoscope match score access, and an Incognito mode to hide your profile from search.

9.3 Payment Terms

Payments are processed by Google Play or Apple App Store. You agree to their terms.

9.4 Subscription Management

Manage subscriptions via the TwoHearts™ App or through your Apple App Store or Google Play Store account settings.

9.5 Subscription Changes

  • Upgrades: When upgrading to a higher plan, you gain access to premium features immediately upon successful payment. Your billing cycle may be adjusted, and any remaining time from the previous plan may be prorated or forfeited based on platform policies.

  • Downgrades: If you switch to a lower plan, the change takes effect after your current billing period ends. You’ll retain your existing benefits until then, and your next billing cycle will reflect the updated tier.

9.6 Cancellation Process

  • You can cancel your subscription anytime by going to Menu → Manage Subscription in the TwoHearts™ App or through your app store settings.

  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before your renewal date to avoid charges for the next billing cycle.

  • After cancellation, you’ll continue to access your current subscription benefits until the end of the paid period. No refunds are issued for unused time.

9.7 Auto-Renewal

All paid plans are set to renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing cycle. This ensures uninterrupted access to features and services.

9.8 Billing Information

  • Renewal date is shown in the "Menu" section of the TwoHearts™ App

  • Subscription renewals are charged automatically by Apple or Google without requiring additional confirmation at the time of renewal, as per their respective policies

9.9 Payment Processing and Support

All payments are securely processed by Google Play or Apple App Store. If you experience issues with billing, failed payments, or accidental charges, please contact the respective platform’s support team. For TwoHearts-specific inquiries, our support team is available at contact@twohearts.dating.

9.10 Price Transparency

Subscription prices shown in the App, Apple App Store, and Google Play Store include applicable taxes (such as VAT, GST, or platform fees) based on your region, including India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, and Pakistan. You will see the final amount during checkout before confirming your purchase.

9.11 No Refund Policy

All payments are non-refundable, including cases where a subscription is canceled before the end of the billing cycle. Refunds are issued only if required by applicable law or if approved directly by the app store under their refund policies.

 

10. Effects of Account Deletion and Data Retention

How to Delete Your Account:

You may delete your account at any time by following these steps:

  • Open the TwoHearts™ App

  • Navigate to “Menu → Settings → Delete Account”

  • Follow the prompts to confirm your decision

Alternatively, if you are unable to access the App, you may request account deletion by sending an email from your registered email address to contact@twohearts.dating with the subject line “Account Deletion Request.” For security reasons, we can only process requests that originate from the email address associated with your account.

Once your account is deleted:

  • It cannot be recovered

  • Your public-facing profile is deleted immediately

  • Internal records are retained as described below

     

Why We Retain Some Data:

We retain limited internal records to detect and prevent fraud, scams, identity theft, misuse, or violations of our Terms. This includes usage logs, payment history, and prior reports. These safeguards help protect all users and ensure the integrity of our platform.

Retention Periods:

  • General data: up to 12 months

  • Financial data: 7 years

  • Transaction logs: 3 years

Anonymized data may be retained indefinitely

 Legal Exceptions:

  • Law enforcement requests

  • Court orders

  • Fraud or scam investigations

     

11. Limitation of Liability
  • The App is provided "as is"

  • Not liable for user conduct

  • No responsibility for indirect or incidental damages

  • No guarantee of uninterrupted access

Apple Warranty Clause: Apple's responsibility is limited to refund; all other issues are managed by Deep Lab (PVT) LTD

 

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Deep Lab (PVT) LTD and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • your use or misuse of the App,

  • any violation of these Terms,

  • your interaction with other users,

  • or any content, features, or services you access or rely on within the App.

This obligation remains even after your account is deleted or access to the App is terminated.

 

13. Disputes Between Users
  • We are not responsible for the content, behavior, or actions of other users, including messages, photos, or voice/video calls.

  • Disputes must be resolved independently between the involved users. We do not mediate or intervene in user-to-user conflicts.

  • You are solely responsible for the media and personal information you share. Use discretion, especially when sharing sensitive, financial, or identifiable information.

  • If another user violates our community standards or engages in harmful behavior, you may report them, but we do not guarantee action or resolution.

     

14. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

These Terms, and any disputes or claims arising out of or in connection with them, including your use of the App or Services, are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any legal dispute between you and Deep Lab (PVT) LTD will be resolved exclusively through final and binding arbitration conducted in English and held in Horana, Sri Lanka, in accordance with the Arbitration Act of Sri Lanka or any replacement legislation. You explicitly agree to waive any rights to bring or participate in class actions, collective proceedings, or consolidated claims. You further waive the right to a trial by jury or public hearing in any jurisdiction. All claims must be brought solely in your individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class or representative proceeding.

 

15. Changes to Terms

We may update or modify these Terms at any time, at our sole discretion. Any changes will become effective immediately upon posting within the App or on our official website. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must discontinue use of the App and delete your account.

 

16. Intellectual Property Rights

All rights remain with Deep Lab (PVT) LTD. Reproduction or distribution without consent is prohibited.

Apple IP Clause: In case of third-party IP claims, Deep Lab (PVT) LTD is responsible, not Apple.

 

17. Third-Party Links and Content
  • External links may be included, such as websites, services, or resources not operated by TwoHearts™.

  • The App may also display advertisements served by third-party ad networks, especially for users on the Free plan.

  • We do not control or endorse the content, policies, or practices of these third parties.

  • We are not responsible for any damages, losses, or issues that may arise from your use of or reliance on third-party content or ads.

     

18. Miscellaneous
  • We show ads to free users

  • We may enforce community guidelines

  • We offer optional user verification through photo and ID checks, but do not conduct background or criminal history checks

  • User reports are reviewed, but they may not always lead to visible action or resolution. We reserve the right to take action at our sole discretion based on the nature of the report and available evidence.

  • Some non-identifiable or legally required information may be retained after account deletion, as described in Section 10

  • Some features use automation or algorithms

  • If a section is found invalid, others remain effective

  • These Terms form the entire agreement

  • Failure to enforce any part of these Terms shall not be considered a waiver of our right to enforce that or any other provision at any time in the future. Our failure to act in a particular instance does not mean we waive our rights in similar or future instances.

  • We are not liable for force majeure events

     

Legal Compliance (Apple Requirement):

  • You are not located in a sanctioned country

  • You are not on any U.S. government restricted list

     

18A. Network Connectivity

The TwoHearts™ App requires an active and stable internet connection (via mobile data or Wi-Fi) to function correctly. Some features may not be accessible or may not operate as intended without continued network access.

 

19. Safety Guidelines
  • Follow our Safety Guidelines

  • Report suspicious activity

  • Do not share sensitive photos, intimate content, financial details, or personal identification documents with other users. Once shared, we cannot control how recipients may use that information.

  • We will never request your password, credit card number, or login credentials. Any such request should be treated as suspicious and reported immediately.

     

20. Privacy of Membership

For details on how your personal data is collected, used, shared, or sold, please refer to our Privacy Policy. Your use of the App confirms your agreement to those terms.

 

21. Additional Disclaimers
  • We make no guarantee that you will find a match, partner, or spouse through the App. Outcomes depend entirely on individual behavior, preferences, and mutual interest.

  • While we offer optional verification, it is your responsibility to independently verify the identity and intentions of anyone you communicate with or meet through the platform.

23. Third-Party Terms of Agreement

You must comply with terms of your mobile network provider when using services like VoIP or data.

 

24. Apple Third Party Beneficiary Clause

Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms. They may enforce the Terms against you.

 

25. License Grant (Google Play Requirement)

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

 

26. Termination of License (Google Play Requirement)

This license ends automatically if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, uninstall the App and cease all use.
