TwoHearts™ Dating – Safety Tips

At TwoHearts, your safety and comfort come first. Whether you're here looking for a life partner through traditional matchmaking or simply exploring meaningful connections, we want you to feel protected every step of the way. Real connections take time, and safety helps build trust. That’s why we’ve put together these essential tips — to help you navigate conversations, meetings, and online interactions with confidence.

Protect Your Personal Information

  • Can Use Parents' or Guardians' Contact Details: You may share your parents’ or guardians’ phone numbers, email addresses, or even social media profiles that include a photo of you with them. This can help build trust in the early stages of communication.

  • Keep Personal Information Private: Avoid sharing sensitive details like your home address, workplace, or daily routines too early in the conversation.

  • You Control What Others See: You have full control over who can see your horoscope and birth details, contact information, and social links. You can choose to show them to everyone, only to people you’ve matched with, or to no one at all. Only share what you're comfortable with.

Plan Safe Meetings

  • Matrimony:

    • If you're going to visit the other person’s home, always go with your parents or a trusted family member, and inform others about your visit and location.

    • If they are coming to your home, make sure your parents or family are present during the meeting.

  • Dating:

    • Always meet in public places like a café, restaurant, or park.

    • Go with friends or family for the first meeting, and avoid secluded areas.

    • Inform someone about your meeting plans—who you're meeting, where, and when.

Cultural Etiquette and First Impressions

  • Dress and Behave Respectfully: Whether you're exploring a life partner or simply getting to know someone, present yourself respectfully and follow basic cultural norms.

  • Be Honest About Intentions: Let the other person know what you're looking for—marriage, serious dating, or just starting a conversation.

Stay Alert During the Meeting

  • Avoid Alcohol and Substances: Stay in control by avoiding alcohol or substances during your meeting, especially the first few.

  • Keep Your Belongings Safe: Always keep your personal items like phone, wallet, and bag with you at all times.

  • Don’t Leave Drinks Unattended: If you're offered a drink, make sure it's served directly by the host or a staff member. Never leave your drink unattended.

Stay Safe While Chatting

  • Be Cautious of Links and Files: Don’t click on unknown links or download anything from users you don’t trust.

  • Avoid Pressure: If someone pressures you for personal photos, videos, or money—stop the conversation immediately.

  • Don’t Share Login Links: TwoHearts uses passwordless login. We’ll send a one-time magic link to your email—never share this link with anyone, even if they claim to be from our team.

  • Watch Out for Fake Profiles: Always be alert for unusual or suspicious behavior. Fake profiles may use copied photos or unrealistic stories to gain your trust.

  • Prefer Verified Users: Communicate with users who are profile-verified. Look for the verification badge to know the person has passed basic checks.

Use Incognito Mode for More Privacy

  • Stay Hidden When Needed: Want to browse without being seen by others? Become a premium member and turn on Incognito Mode in your Settings.

  • How It Works: When enabled, your profile is hidden from all users except those you message or match with—giving you full control over who can view you.

Trust Your Gut

  • Leave If It Feels Wrong: Whether in chat or in person, if something feels off, end the interaction. Your safety always comes first.

  • Ask for Help If Needed: If you feel unsafe, reach out to someone around you or contact support.

Report Concerns and Help Keep the Community Safe

  • Report Inappropriate Behavior: If someone makes you feel uncomfortable or behaves inappropriately, report them.

Go to their profile → tap the three dots on the top right → select Report Profile.

Write a clear description of what happened, and include screenshots or photos if available. We take all reports seriously. If verified, the profile may be banned.

  • Alternatively, Contact Us by Email: You can also report issues by emailing us at contact@twohearts.dating.

If you're reporting someone this way, please include their profile ID.

(Go to the profile → tap the three dots → select Share to copy the ID or link.)

By following these tips, you're helping make TwoHearts a safe and respectful space—for both traditional matchmaking and modern dating.

Stay safe, stay kind, and happy connecting!

With love,
