TwoHearts™ Dating – Data Deletion Policy

At TwoHearts™, we are committed to protecting your privacy and giving you full control over your data. This policy explains how you can permanently delete your account and what happens to your data after deletion, in accordance with our Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and applicable data protection laws.

1. Cancel Active Subscriptions First

Before deleting your account, please cancel any active subscriptions to avoid future charges. Account deletion does not automatically cancel your subscription.

For iOS (App Store):

Open the App Store → Tap your profile icon → Subscriptions

Locate TwoHearts™ and cancel the subscription

For Android (Google Play Store):

Open Google Play Store → Tap your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions

Find and cancel TwoHearts™

You can also cancel subscriptions within the app by going to:

Menu → Manage Subscription → Cancel

2. How to Delete Your Account

To delete your account from the TwoHearts™ App:

Open the app and go to Settings → Delete Account

Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm your request

If you are unable to access the app:

Send an email from your registered email address to support@twohearts.dating

Use the subject line: “Account Deletion Request.”

Include your full name and any identifying information to verify your request

3. What Happens After You Request Deletion

Once you request deletion:

– Your account will be marked for deletion and hidden from public view

– You will have 30 days to change your mind by logging back in

– After 30 days, your account and all personal data will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered

We retain limited internal data only where necessary:

– Profile and messaging data: kept up to 12 months for fraud prevention, safety investigations, and audit purposes

– Transaction records: retained for 3 years to comply with legal, financial, and tax obligations

– Financial data: retained for 7 years in accordance with financial regulations

– Anonymized data (non-identifiable): may be retained indefinitely for analytics

All personal data is handled in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act No. 9 of 2022 (Sri Lanka), GDPR, and other applicable laws.

4. Important Notes

– Uninstalling the app or deleting your account does not cancel your subscription

– We do not retain any personal data beyond legal or operational necessity

– Data shared with third-party services (e.g., payment processors or analytics tools) may be retained under their own policies

– If your account is involved in an ongoing legal or fraud investigation, deletion may be delayed

Account deletion is final. Once completed, your data cannot be restored. If you return to TwoHearts™, you must create a new account and profile.
